Every night we would walk our dog through the streets of Venice, past the old bungalows. Our dog at the time, Byron, was a white boxer, who sometimes got scared of shapes and shadows during our walks. Here, Byron is standing in the safe glow of the house lamp while looking out at the moonlit shadows of the trees and bushes. I love the juxtaposition of the two types of light.
