Palm Springs is famous for indoor-outdoor living. This is a painting seen from our backyard in Palm Springs looking through the open house towards the mountains. I was just marveling at all the diverse types of light at play with each other. The blue dusk sky, the lit palm trees, and cactus seen above and through the front glass, the lamp inside, the mid-century globe on the patio casting its orange glow, and, of course, the pool light. We also have an outdoor shower with risqué glass block wall.
