James and I were fortunate to find a lovely house in Chonchas Chinos, Puerto Vallarta, that had become a three-room hotel called Casa Palapa by its gay owner. It had a small infinity pool and a great view. The woman sitting on the pool is actualluy a sculpture by the owner. One day, I came out of my room to see they were floating red hibiscus flowers in the pool with James talking to a fellow guest. I painted this on-site.
